インストーラーやデザイナーとして活動する際に使用する「仕事用」と、アート活動に使用する「作品用」の2種類の名刺を制作しました。両者に統一感を持たせつつ、それぞれの目的に合わせて異なるデザインに仕上げています。
I created two types of business cards: one for professional use as an installer and designer, and another for use in my art practice. While maintaining a sense of unity between the two, each design was tailored to suit its specific purpose.
仕事用の名刺では、名前を縦書きにすることでフォーマルな印象を演出しました。感性や個性が伝わるよう、用紙にはマーメイドやフレンチマーブルなど、自分が好む質感のある紙を選んでいます。
For the professional card, I used vertical text for my name to evoke a formal impression. To convey a sense of individuality and sensibility, I selected textured papers that I personally favor, such as Mermaid and French Marble.
作品用の名刺には、「手作業による唯一無二のかたち」という作品と共通するコンセプトを取り入れ、手書きのサインを加えています。用紙にはトレーシングペーパーを使用。手のひらにのせると紙が自然に反る特性を活かし、名刺の受け取り手とのフィジカルなインタラクションを意図しました。また、一般的な名刺よりも薄い紙を使用しており、ビジネス用途には不向きですが、それによって「ビジネス的な関係性に重きを置いていない」という姿勢をさりげなく表現しています。
For the art card, I incorporated a concept shared with my artwork: the one-of-a-kind form created by hand. I added a handwritten signature to each card. The cards are printed on tracing paper, which naturally curls when held in the palm, creating a subtle physical interaction with the recipient. The paper is thinner than that typically used for business cards, making it impractical for conventional business settings—an intentional choice that quietly expresses my ambivalence toward business-centered relationships.
